Asian Highlights and Hair Color Ideas
Golden red and medium blonde are the two primary colors for the Asian woman with this Ombre hairstyle. The top half is red while the bottom is blonde except for the ends on the right which are also red. With the exception of that surprising tip, the perfect fade between two warm hues is excellent. The wavyness is understated and her heavy bangs are straight. These decisions add emphasis to the haircolor. Two inches shorter, however, could help balance her age. (Make her look her age and not drag her down.)
Eriko Tamura has a layered Asian hairstyle with reddish brown highlights. The extra color virtually matches her eyes. The pretty brunette celebrity has the popular design where hair mirrors the profile of the face and curls around it. The face-framing sections are very thin but the delicateness is a fine feminine touch. Soft half bangs help make it cute. Structural proportions everywhere seem to hit the mark.

The Thai woman in red has fairly blunt layers and dark blonde hair highlights. Layered strands at the mid-section are a classically modern feature of many haircuts. Her highlights are also standard issue by starting at the front and going back a few inches. The easy cut, however, is more appealing than the dull, beige-like highlight color.
Lots of sweet curls adorn the head of this young lady, who tops her luxurious locks with a mini tiara. It's difficult to find fault with her glamorous curly hair, but the red (almost wine) highlights aren't so appropriate. Both the size of the swaths and their placement don't fit perfectly because of how they were randomly integrated.

Beauty Discussion
There is a long thread in a discussion on Yahoo! Answers entitled "What is the best hair color for Asian women?" There are a lot of different opinions and not much consensus. The final answer seems most reasonable. It said that the same haircolor rules and wisdom for any girl apply to Asian women. The primary issue is skin complexion; then you consider your personality; eyes; your typical makeup palette; and wardrobe staples.
